Title: Project Manager – Zero Emission Buildings (ZEB)
Location: Milan, Italy (with travel across project sites)
Who are we recruiting for:
Our client is a fast-growing EPC contractor and developer operating at the forefront of the Zero Emission Buildings (ZEB) space, delivering integrated solutions across design, engineering, construction, and project execution.
With a strong pipeline and ambitious growth plans, the business plays a key role in the decarbonisation of the built environment, combining technical expertise with a highly execution-driven model.
As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the delivery of complex ZEB projects across Italy and support the scaling of their operational platform.
What will you be doing:
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of Zero Emission Buildings projects, ensuring execution on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
- Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams across all project phases
- Ensure adherence to project plans, milestones, contractual obligations, and technical specifications
- Monitor project performance including cost control, progress tracking, and risk management
- Support procurement and commercial teams in supplier coordination and contract execution
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, environmental standards, and permitting requirements
- Identify and resolve on-site and operational issues, escalating where necessary
- Liaise with engineering, design, and operations teams to ensure alignment across project delivery
- Provide regular reporting on progress, risks, and key project metrics to senior management
Are you the ideal candidate?
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within EPC, construction, or energy infrastructure projects
- Strong background delivering complex building, energy, or industrial projects
- Solid understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and site management
- Experience working with subcontractors and managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong knowledge of HSE standards, regulatory compliance, and quality control
- Commercial awareness with ability to manage budgets, timelines, and project risks
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on execution mindset
- Fluent in Italian and English
