Project Manager – SaaS PLM

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of SaaS PLM implementation projects for clients in the food manufacturing industry.

Context:

As Project Manager and part of the Professional Services team, you will oversee the complete lifecycle of SaaS PLM projects, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, and high‑quality delivery. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage stakeholders at all levels, and support customers as they adopt and integrate PLM best practices into their operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of SaaS PLM implementation and enhancement projects for food manufacturing clients.
• Build and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, deliverables, risks, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate internal teams across Professional Services, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Support.
• Serve as the primary project contact for customers, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout all phases.
• Lead regular status reviews and Steering Committees with both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Ensure application of Agile and Waterfall methodologies in accordance with internal standards.
• Validate deliverables and ensure they meet functional, regulatory, and quality expectations typical of the food manufacturing sector.
• Identify opportunities for further services, process optimization, and value expansion within customer accounts.

Key skills and requirements:

• 5+ years of experience managing software or SaaS implementation projects.
• Solid understanding of SDLC , enterprise application deployment, and cloud SaaS environments.
• Experience with PLM , ideally within food, manufacturing, or regulated industries.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Food Technology, or related fields.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience is a plus.
• Italian: fluent.
• English: fluent.
• Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.

Preferred qualifications:

• PMP or similar project management certification.
• Experience working with PLM or SaaS platforms in food manufacturing contexts.
