Overview
Job Description Summary BD Rowa Italy Srl is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful planning, execution, and closure of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This role is critical in driving the implementation of our automated solutions within the Italian market. The project manager is dedicated to the development of projects aimed at the production and installation of Rowa robotic warehouses.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, resource allocation, and budget forecasts.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks and develop contingency plans.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
- Report and escalate to management as needed, providing regular project status updates to stakeholders.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations effectively.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned to improve future project management processes.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of BD Rowa's products and services to effectively guide project implementation.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the healthcare, automation, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven working experience in project management, demonstrating successful delivery of complex projects.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies is a plus.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Italian and English.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
- PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a significant advantage.
- Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Work Environment and Location
Primary Work Location: ITA Milano - Via Enrico Cialdini
Work Shift: On-site collaboration preferred; for many roles, a minimum of 4 days in-office per week is recommended to sustain our culture of excellence. Remote or field-based positions will have different arrangements as indicated in the posting.
