Project Manager Italy SC Initiatives

  • Develop strong relationships with Global Brand team and local marketing teams to charter and lead initiatives, and extract and monitor future innovation plans, building a clear pipeline.
  • Prepare progress reports on major projects and provide visibility on upcoming workload peaks across different SC departments.
  • Define initiative success criteria and ensure they are met at decision gates.
  • Support informed business decision‑making through technical mastery, risk analysis and cost knowledge (understanding of COGS structures and project financial success criteria, P&L).
  • Execute projects with excellence, leveraging Global best practices and enabling speed to market, including budget tracking and critical‑path scheduling.
  • Promote teamwork with multi‑functional SC operations to design best‑value solutions and ensure successful, seamless delivery.
  • Use packaging development expertise to challenge scope, capture and mitigate risks, and maintain alignment with Bacardi’s Global Packaging Development (DFE) process. Manage packaging technical developments when required.
  • Ensure alignment with internal multi‑functional project teams and Global Supply before decision gates.
  • Lead holistic risk assessment for initiatives and drive business decisions.
  • Escalate risks quickly in the appropriate forums.
  • Support the Packaging & Innovation Management Lead with global work‑process adoption, coaching, and roll‑out.
  • Manage initiatives centred in other SCs where peak workload situations demand.

Business Understanding

  • Build strong connections with marketing and markets to understand business needs and share them within the SC.
  • Integrate SC constraints and requirements constructively with markets/marketing.
  • Share SC awareness of the brand pipeline of activity.

Communication

  • Coordinate regular “Project Review – Italy Supply”, monthly initiative reviews and innovation sections of Business Brand Reviews.
  • Promote strong collaboration in project teams.
  • Prepare key milestones and communications for the SC, GOPS and business.
  • Coaching and training on Bacardi’s innovation process and tools.

Continuous Improvement of Best Practices for Project Management

  • Conduct effective project close‑out reviews, summarizing key learnings and improvement needs.
  • Contribute and share learning and improvement plans with Italy SC, other SCs, and Global Best Practices Project Manager.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or Engineering.

Experience

  • At least 3 years as a Project Manager managing complex projects.
  • Previous experience in Packaging Development; Diploma in Packaging or comparable qualification is advantageous.
  • Experience executing key innovations (including luxury packaging) and sustainable packaging projects.
  • Strong working relationships with Global Brand, Local Market, and cross‑functional networks.
  • Lead and influence multi‑functional teams to deliver with excellence.
  • Willing to travel up to 10%; open to relocation within the group (France, Scotland, Switzerland, USA, etc.).

Functional Skills

  • Leadership to manage a high‑volume, highly complex portfolio of projects.
  • Excellent project management and stage‑gate process knowledge.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to influence in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Founder’s mentality to challenge brand and SC for maximum value.
  • Italian mother‑tongue.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (mandatory).

Compensation Range

€40,000 – €50,000 (Grade 8)
