The Engineering Division of Randstad Professional Leaders Search & Selection - specialized in the search and selection of middle & senior management profiles - on behalf of our client, a global provider of Oil&Gas industrial plants, we are looking for a:


PROJECT MANAGER


POSITION SUMMARY :

The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of large-scale international projects, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, timelines, costs, and quality and safety standards. He/She will play a key role in multidisciplinary coordination between various corporate functions and in managing relationships with customers, suppliers, and international partners. Furthermore, the candidate must actively manage project risks and prepare and defend claims, ensuring the protection of the company's economic and contractual interests.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the proper planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of projects according to EPC logic;
  • Identify, analyze, and monitor technical, economic, and contractual project risks;
  • Draft and update the Project Execution Plan and the Master Schedule;
  • Manage the client throughout all project phases, from the definition of technical plant specifications to on-site delivery, ensuring compliance with development lead times, costs, and quality;
  • Monitor Work Progress Status, project costs, and cash flow, ensuring contractual milestones are met while managing time, resources, and quality;
  • Manage change orders, claims, delays, liquidated damages, and other contractual dynamics in collaboration with the Legal department;
  • Coordinate with the Legal department to manage risk management activities: identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of project risks;
  • Collaborate functionally with Engineering, Procurement, HSE, Quality, Legal, and Finance teams;
  • Supervise internal and external personnel involved in the commissioning phase, monitoring installation timelines and proposing corrective actions where necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Energy Engineering;
  • 5–8 years of experience in managing large-scale international industrial projects (EPC) within the plant engineering sector;
  • Consolidated expertise in risk management, claim management, and contractual change management;
  • In-depth knowledge of Project Management methodologies (WBS, Gantt, Earned Value, S-Curve, etc.);
  • Advanced proficiency in project planning and control software (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.);
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Availability for international travel.

Salary Package: RAL 60-70K

LOCATION: near Novara - 2/5 Smart working
