Project Manager (m/f/d) - Terminal Projects Italy Your mission that drives sustainability in logistics

This is a 2-year fixed-term role dedicated to a high-impact project in Italy—a chance to take real ownership and see your work turn into tangible railway infrastructure. You’ll join a committed team to drive delivery on the ground, collaborate closely with key stakeholders, and help shape a more sustainable future for logistics through a project you can point to with pride. Your responsibilities:

Lead the day-to-day execution of railway infrastructure projects in Italy, acting as the primary project manager and company representative on site. Develop, coordinate, and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans to ensure successful project delivery. Coordinate closely with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, planners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, scope, schedule, and deliverables. Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, contractual, and technical requirements. Monitor and control project performance, including budget, schedule, resources, risks, and scope, implementing corrective actions where required. Identify, assess, and resolve project issues and risks, driving practical solutions to maintain project progress. Prepare and maintain accurate project reporting, providing regular updates on progress, risks, costs, and key milestones to management. Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, authorities, and other stakeholders while representing the company in a professional manner. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements to support project profitability and operational excellence. Implement and utilize Building Information Modelling (BIM) methodologies to enhance project coordination, collaboration, and visualization. Maintaining strong and positive relationships with the relevant local authorities and municipalities Assistance with land-related clarifications with local authorities and RFI. Assistance with building permit procedure Assistance in technical Site DD for upcoming Italian CargoBeamer locations Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering discipline. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project; experience with iTWO and SAP is an advantage. Fluent in Italian with professional proficiency in English (minimum B2 level); German language skills are an advantage. Why us?
