The Project Engineer position will be based out of Zeeco's Lissone office, Milan area. The position requires knowledge of all Zeeco products, with a focus on the Incinerators division products and relevant technical requirements. Responsibilities include ensuring all aspects of assigned jobs deliver high-quality products on time, within budget, and meet customer requirements. Duties involve coordinating with internal and external disciplines, developing and maintaining procurement and manufacturing schedules, conducting technical and commercial bid evaluations with vendors, monitoring budgets, and handling correspondence.

Duties

• Review Purchase Orders and confirm scope of supply based on customer specifications and sales quotations.
• Confirm equipment selection and design, and coordinate required disciplines.
• Coordinate drafting activities to ensure all required drawings are completed on time.
• Review customer mark-ups, clarify comments, and instruct drafting accordingly.
• Manage costs within the assigned budget and handle changes with customers and suppliers.
• Maintain delivery schedules based on customer requirements and Zeeco workloads, coordinating drafting, purchasing, manufacturing, and quality control.
• Pre-order materials as needed for meeting delivery deadlines.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control Department regarding customer and job specifications.
• Handle all technical and commercial correspondence related to the job, including internal and external communications.
• Coordinate changes to scope of supply with customers and notify the Accounts Department for billing.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills

• B.S. or Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc.) and/or five years of related experience in manufacturing; or equivalent education and experience. Personal computer skills required.
• Business acumen and sound commercial decision-making are essential, despite engineering background.
• Results-driven with a commitment to performance.
• Passion for Engineering and Business.
• Fluent in English.
