ContourGlobal, a KKR company, is an established Independent Power Producer (IPP) focused on developing, acquiring, and operating electricity generation and storage assets across Europe, North and South America, with a presence in Africa and Asia. As a Project Management Specialist you will join our Engineering & Construction- Project Management Office ! In this role, you’ll lead project lifecycle governance and standards definition, ensuring proper stage-gates management and cross-functional alignment, while strengthening day-to-day delivery through PM enablement, data & tools stewardship, and executive reporting, applying Project Management best practices and capturing lessons learned into procedures. You will also shape schedule and milestone standards, strengthen portfolio cadence and dashboards, and help improve forecast accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and enforce processes, templates and RACI matrices across the project lifecycle; define clear rules for Business Development/Origination to Engineering &Construction and Engineering & Construction to Operations & Maintenance handovers (readiness checklists, documentation bundles, payment/milestone linkages, acceptance criteria).
  • Support and coach Project Managers on PMI/PMBOK practices; run targeted reviews and assurance checks on critical projects; capture lessons learned into standards and procedures.
  • Maintain a unified portfolio view (milestones, critical paths, S-curves) using agreed schedule standards and milestone models by technology/country; update dashboards and heatmaps and drive clear decision/action ownership.
  • Orchestrate alignment between Engineering & Construction and the other key departments, to support decision making with Procurement, Legal, Engineering, Finance and Operations & Maintenance; maintain action logs, owners and due dates.
  • Manage the PMO data model and toolstack (Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Power BI); standardize and govern reporting calendars and cut-off rules; deliver concise executive packs to COO/Head of E&C.
  • Partner with Finance and PMs on standard monthly cost packs (Value of Work Done, commitments vs actuals, etc); ensure approved changes are reflected in forecasts and portfolio dashboards; uphold data-quality and cut-off rules.
  • Guarantee continuous improvement: track benefits (forecast accuracy, hand-over lead time, rework reduction) evolving playbooks accordingly.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Project Management, Economics, Engineering, or Business.
  • 5+ years’ experience in PMO/Project Management within E&C or other industrial projects; renewable energy sector experience preferred.
  • Project management knowledge: solid command of PMBOK standards and practices; ability to tailor methods to the E&C lifecycle, set and manage baselines, operate change control, define progress rules & acceptance criteria, and coach Project Managers on practical application.
  • Scheduling standards knowledge (Microsoft Project): strong in WBS design, calendars, dependencies & constraints, critical path, baselines/re-baselining rules, milestone models by technology/country, look-ahead routines and S-curves.
  • Power BI experience for project data control and reporting.
  • Proven delivery of process standards, stage-gates and RACI management, Standard Operating Procedures and templates, change-management and adoption across multiple projects/regions.
  • Working knowledge of project cost control (Value of Work Done, commitments vs actuals, etc).
  • Excellent English written and oral; capable of drafting standards/templates and coaching PMs on practical PMBOK application. Spanish and Italian are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills; ability to translate project data into clear executive narratives.
  • Tools: advanced Microsoft Project and Excel; intermediate Power BI; basic SAP navigation.
  • Travel requirements: this role requires availability to travel up to 25% of the time.
