Mission


The Project Engineering Manager is responsible of the execution of the assigned project, in conjunction with the Project Director, if assigned. The PEM coordinates all the activities of the project. Will be responsible of the overall results of the project, in terms of safety, schedule, quality and economic results. He/she manages the project team to achieve the project goals. He/she represents the company towards the client.


⚙️ Key Responsibilities


  • Guarantee the execution of the assigned project, from the design phase to procurement, construction and commissioning (where applicable) and further through the period of warranty until the final acceptance; ensuring the respect of the terms of contract and the management of risk, also with regards to insurance and financial aspects, in line with the previously determined targets, deadlines for execution and the required quality and safety levels;
  • Ensure the relations with the Clients and with the Partners during the execution of contracts, in order to guarantee an efficient fulfilment of the assigned project and to obtain Customer Satisfaction;
  • To prepare and to discuss with the Head of Department, the project execution strategy and the project schedule and to guarantee its application during its whole life period.
  • To define and to attain to, while coordinating and cooperating with the Project Leaders, the procedures, the guide lines, and the technical project’s standards.
  • To check and manage the project amendments, focusing on minimizing project execution’s delays and costs.
  • To ensure her/his technical support during the preparation of the necessary project documentation for the job subcontract, and the orders’ suppliers assignment, as well as during the job execution phases;
  • To guarantee the technical interface with the customer, concerning all the project’s issues which can arise and can be significant, in terms of project’s timing realization and in terms of project’s costs.


Requirements


  • You hold at least 7 years of experience in Project Management roles, preferably in industrial or plant engineering environments
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Experience working in international and complex project environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage and resolve conflicting situations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally
  • Availability to travel for short assignments in Italy and abroad
