We are seeking a Project Engineering Manager to join our Plant Engineering Team within the Special & Turn-key Projects Group of the Upstream Business Unit.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for technology and motivation to work in a multicultural, international environment with high technological complexity.

You will report to the Head of Plant Engineering, with functional reporting to the Project Manager for your assigned projects. You will collaborate with Lead Engineers, Technical Teams, Procurement, Quality, HSE, Project Control Teams, as well as Client Technical Teams and Suppliers.

Responsibilities include:

• Overall coordination of engineering activities for large, complex projects.
• Ensuring engineering activities are efficient, timely, and cost-effective, complying with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Leading the engineering project team, setting guidelines, development strategies, and defining main project tasks.
• Serving as the technical focal point for clients and partners.
• Coordinating among technical disciplines and product lines.
• Overseeing design and engineering for the Balance of Plant, including scope of supply not covered by Tenova product lines.
• Monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensuring on-time delivery of Material Requisitions.
• Managing project design changes with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Supporting contract management activities, including variation proposals and claims related to design changes.
• Supporting the commissioning team.

Profile requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in engineering management of complex projects in steel, oil & gas, petrochemical, or power industries.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, collaborative approach, multicultural mindset, and problem-solving skills.
