About the Role
We’re seeking an Engineer (discipline open — Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil) based in Italy , ideally near Milan , with the flexibility to travel to project sites nationally, including ongoing work near Milan and upcoming developments in Cerignola (South Italy) .
This position suits a motivated engineering professional with 3–6 years’ experience and strong BESS project exposure , eager to work across design, construction, and commissioning phases within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of utility-scale BESS projects.
- Provide technical input on design, installation, and system integration.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and performance standards.
- Assist in project planning, progress tracking, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with TSOs, grid operators, and engineering consultants for grid connection and compliance activities.
What You Bring
- Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil).
- 3–6 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector, ideally with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) exposure.
- Practical, solution-oriented mindset with strong technical and coordination skills.
- Fluent English and Italian , written and spoken.
- EU work eligibility and willingness to travel to project sites across Italy.
