Project Engineer /Project Development Manager


From Taylor Hopkinson we´re hiring a Project Engineer for one of the fastes growing multinational IPP in renewable energy. The company develops, finances, builds and operates renewable energy projects across a diverse portfolio, including solar, wind and energy storage solutions, with a strong track record and a growing presence across Europe. In Italy, the company currently manages a portfolio of 20 projects, with ~1.3 GW of interconnection capacity and more than 3.6 GWh of energy storage capacity, spanning solar PV, wind, and battery storage technologies.


Role’s Responsibilites


• Support to Project Managers: provide ongoing support to the Project Managers in planning, coordination, and execution of project activities, ensuring smooth project delivery.


• Review of Technical Project Documents: evaluate design documents, drawings, calculations, and technical reports to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.


• Consultant Interface and Coordination: collaborate with external consultants and local engineering firms to ensure the proper implementation of technical project documentation


• Collaboration with the Engineering Team: work with the engineering team and other professionals to ensure that key technical requirements are met during the project development phase, in compliance with Italian industry regulations.

About YOU


• Bachelor’s degree in engineering – (preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering), Master's degree is an advantage.


• Experience in developing projects within Italy – a must, experience with working with global companies – an advantage.


• Strong knowledge of reviewing technical project documents, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports – an advantage.


• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to solar, wind and BESS projects - an advantage.


• Italian – Mother Tongue. High level of English (technical, speaking, reading and writing)


• High motivation, excellent interpersonal skills, independent working capabilities, strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to details.


• Ability to work fully remotely.


• The job requires traveling across Italy and occasionally to Israel.
