Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Project Developer based in Rome, Italy, with the flexibility for some remote work. The Project Developer will be responsible for managing the development pipeline of solar PV projects, including identifying new opportunities, assessing feasibility, coordinating permitting processes, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. The role includes financial modeling, negotiating contracts, tracking project timelines, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners to achieve project milestones is a critical aspect of the role.

Qualifications

• Project development skills, including identifying opportunities, feasibility studies, and developing solar PV plants
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and permitting processes in project management
• Experience with financial modeling and contract negotiations
• Excellent stakeholder relationship management and team collaboration abilities
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in English and Italian languages required
• Previous experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage
