Project Developer – Utility-Scale Renewables
€40,000-€48,000 + bonus
Milan office + home working options
Italian and English Language required
SR2 is partnering with an ambitious renewable energy developer to support the growth of their Italian development team. This is a hands-on role for a Project Developer who wants real ownership of projects from early-stage feasibility through to execution.
What you’ll be doing
- Coordinate with external developers, engineers, and consultants to drive renewable energy projects forward
- Assess technical feasibility and commercial viability of utility-scale PV projects using industry-standard tools
- Support land acquisition and M&A activity, including technical reviews and due diligence
- Engage with local authorities and regulatory bodies throughout the permitting process
- Work closely with EPC and Asset Management teams to ensure smooth handover from development to delivery
- Report project progress, risks, and milestones directly to senior development leadership
What we’re looking for
- Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 1–2 years’ experience in renewable energy project development (solar PV preferred)
- Strong understanding of Italian energy regulations and permitting frameworks
- Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting
- Clear communicator with strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English and Italian
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Italy
