I. Position Information
- Location: Italy (preferred: Milan / Rome, etc.; business travel may be arranged based on project needs)
- Reporting Line: Head of the Italy entity / Group CFO (close collaboration with Project Development, Legal, Engineering, and other functions)
- Role Purpose: Develop talent for financing and project lending in the Italian market, with a focus on local loan execution, financing coordination, bank communication, and document/material follow-up
II. Key Responsibilities
- Bank Liaison & Relationship Management
- Support engagement with local Italian banks and relevant institutions; follow up communications with HQ/branches, arrange meetings, prepare minutes, and drive action items to closure
- Build and maintain a bank contact list, communication logs, and progress tracker
- Project Financing Execution (Focus: Project Loans / Non-Recourse Financing)
- Participate in advancing financing processes for Italy projects, including information collection, document preparation, submission, follow-up on supplemental requests, and feedback tracking
- Support key milestones for project loans (including non-recourse / project finance) such as indication of interest, term sheet, due diligence, credit approval, and conditions precedent to drawdown (as applicable per project)
- Financing Documents & Materials Support
- Assist in preparing required financing materials, including project overview, basic financial data, progress/milestones, risk and compliance information, bank questionnaires, etc.
- Coordinate with external advisors (e.g., accountants, lawyers, valuation/technical advisors) and internal teams to ensure version consistency and on-time delivery
- Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication
- Work with Project Development, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and other teams to close key information loops
- Provide bilingual communication and necessary translation support in Chinese–Italian and/or Chinese–English to ensure accurate information transfer
- Other Support
- Support financing data filing/archiving, process optimization, and template/document standardization as part of foundational system-building work
III. Requirements
- Based in Italy: Able to work long-term in Italy (candidates with a valid work permit/residence status are preferred)
- Language Skills: Italian as a working language (able to independently handle meetings, emails, and documents); fluent in Chinese
- Educational Background: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering Management, or related fields preferred (outstanding candidates are not limited by major)
- Communication & Personality: Outgoing and proactive; strong external communication and follow-up skills (bank/multi-party coordination is the core working mode)
- Learning & Execution: Clear logical thinking; able to learn financing processes quickly; resilient under pressure, results-driven, capable of managing multiple tasks and delivering on time
