Overview
Program Manager KDP for France, Italy and Spain, Author and Agent Relationship Management, FT/PT. Job ID: | Amazon EU SARL (Italy Branch) - D68. This is a fixed term maternity cover role (Fixed term contract until May 2027).
Amazon's Books team is looking for a leader to help us continue to revolutionize how customers buy and read books. We offer a creative, fast paced, entrepreneurial work environment where you’ll be contributing to Amazon's innovation. The role involves working with authors, literary agents and other content creators in France, Italy and Spain as they add selection to the Amazon store and use Kindle Direct Publishing and related programs to help authors succeed. You will work to improve existing programs while seeking new opportunities to help authors reach their readers on Amazon.
Responsibilities
- In-person/virtual author events (such as trade fairs and conferences)
- KDP Account management and escalation management
- Literary Agents account management
- KDP Writing contests
- Self-Publishing community engagement
- Owning and tracking marketplace community engagement expenditure
- KDP Social Media management
- Content escalation support
- PR team liaison
- KDP performance management (WBR, MBR, QBR)
- KDP deals management
- KDP Prime Reading management
Expected Qualifications
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience leading process improvements
