We are seeking a Strategic Architect who can deliver comprehensive advisory services with engagement oversight from senior practice members. Develop a reputation as an internal SME in one or more technical domains. This role is an individual contributor to our practice, with an expected goal to achieve Certified Technical Architect within 2 to 3 years. The role involves embedding with clients for extended periods to accelerate ROI and reduce risk, helping establish solid architecture foundations, effective governance, and continuous delivery engines to make Salesforce a mission-critical platform. You will learn your client’s business, goals, and technology landscape, forming relationships with senior stakeholders and driving strategic roadmaps for transformation leveraging Salesforce and other platforms. You will remove architecture roadblocks using your expertise, standards, best practices, and the future vision of our Product Managers. Contributing to our Architect Community is also a key aspect, enabling faster value delivery.
You will serve as a Trusted Advisor to our clients’ technology and business leaders, leveraging the collective intelligence of our Architect Community and Product Managers to accelerate business value and reduce risk.
- Responsibilities include:
- Helping clients meet or exceed goals and metrics
- Contributing to program vision and advising on strategies
- Enabling effective Salesforce integration into client infrastructure
- Ensuring the health of client architecture across Salesforce and related platforms
- Driving adherence to standards and best practices in security, performance, integration, analytics, mobile, release management, and development lifecycle
- Engaging with the Architect Community, Product Managers, and Engineering on high-risk architecture decisions
- Advising and mentoring diverse teams, influencing without direct authority
- Growing the Advisory Services practice through internal initiatives
- Generating positive feedback from internal teams and leadership
- Demonstrating ongoing professional growth and development
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Enterprise consulting experience, including implementation of enterprise solutions like CRM or ERP
- Experience as an Architect in mid to large organizations, leading transformation efforts
- Ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communicator capable of evangelizing best practices at all organizational levels
- Innovative mindset, continually studying new technologies and functionalities
- Willingness to travel (average 50%) based on client needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or related field
- Relevant Salesforce Certifications such as App Builder, Admin, Advanced Admin, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Application Architect, Systems Architect, or Certified Technical Architect
