Location: San Giuliano Milanese (MI)

We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer specialized in transformer accessories. You will join a global team, contributing to the design and development of critical components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Act as a Manager or Sub-project Manager for development projects.
• Product Design: Design components for transformer accessories and develop static/dynamic assemblies in close cooperation with manufacturing, production, and suppliers.
• Technical Support: Serve as the technical reference point for internal departments (Sales, Order Processing, Technical Service, Complaint Management) and customers.
• Verification: Plan and coordinate tests for technical verification.
• Data Management: Manage Part Numbers and create Bills of Materials (BOM) using the ERP system.

Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: Several years of relevant professional experience in mechanical/electromechanical design.
• CAD Skills: Very good knowledge of 3D CAD is mandatory (Solid Edge is highly desirable; AutoCAD).
• Manufacturing Knowledge: Solid understanding of the following industrial processes is requested:
• Die/Sand/Shell casting
• Plastic Injection molding
• Metal sheet bending
• CNC machining
• Additional Skills: Knowledge of FEM calculations and ERP logic is desirable. Project Management experience is a strong plus.
• Languages: Fluent in English and Italian (minimum B2 level, written and spoken).
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, creativity, enthusiasm, and excellent communication skills for teamwork in an international environment.
