Position Responsibilities

Collaborate with AWS field sales, presales, training, and support teams to help customers and partners with key engagements in technical cloud computing using AWS. Develop and deliver proof-of-concept projects and technical workshops. Support implementation projects and assist customers with cloud computing and processing capabilities. Help partners and customers utilize AWS services, including understanding customer requirements, proposing and delivering packaged offerings, and delivering custom solution engagements. Support new distributed computing solutions spanning private and public cloud services. Migrate existing applications and develop new ones using AWS cloud services.

Position Requirements

Master's Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have one year of experience in the following skills: experience with Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++, or similar object-oriented programming language; experience with automating cloud native technologies, deploying applications, and provisioning infrastructure; experience with Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar tools; experience with microservices or distributed application architecture; and hands-on technical experience with mainframe, non-x86 legacy systems, and technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 for z/OS, Assembler, PL/I, Java, REXX, flat/sequential files, GDGs, or VSAM. 100% telecommuting is permitted, with work possible from anywhere in the U.S.
