PRIMARY FUNCTION / ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will be involved in an industrial thesis project focused on the optimization of a CNC tube‑shaping workstation. Under the supervision of the company tutor, the student will learn how to:

  • Analyze the current material supply conditions for the workstation.
  • Study and redesign the service area dedicated to material handling and workstation support.
  • Evaluate and improve the layout of the workstation to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Map and optimize the internal logistics and material flow to and from the CNC tube‑shaping machine.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement through data analysis and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Propose and validate new solutions for the organization of tools, materials, and space near the workstation.
  • Support the definition of new standards and procedures to ensure sustainable improvements.


QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace, Management, Energy, Chemical, Materials, Environmental Engineering, or other STEM disciplines (Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, etc.).
  • Strong interest in production processes, industrial optimization, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • Good command of English, written and spoken.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
  • Analytical mindset, teamwork capability, and strong communication skills.


THESIS PROJECT DURATION

3 to 6 months, with the possibility to adjust timing according to academic needs.
