Production Scheduling & Logistics Specialist

We are looking for a brilliant candidate for the role of Production Scheduling & Logistics Specialist.
The selected individual will primarily be responsible for:
- KPI Analysis and Monitoring : Continuously analyze and monitor production and logistics KPIs (line efficiency, delivery times, inventory levels, quality) to identify deviations from targets and propose corrective actions.
- Communication with Customers and Suppliers : Regularly interface with customers and subcontractors, ensuring accurate and timely updates on order status and planning.
- Production Planning : Coordinate with the Sales, Inventory & Operation Planning function to develop medium- and short-term production plans and translate them into operational schedules, considering the availability of production resources (equipment, materials, labor).
- Management of Subcontractors and External Supplies : Monitor external production activities and subcontractors’ production plans, managing corrective actions to ensure compliance with timelines and quantities.
- Material Flow Management : Coordinate material flows and the supply of work centers, ensuring the availability of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products according to needs.
- Transport Management : Plan and monitor transportation to/from customers and suppliers, considering urgency, frequency, and mode.
- Logistics Parameter Optimization : Adjust and monitor lead times, min/max stock levels, WIP, and other parameters to ensure continuous and efficient flows.
- Continuous Improvement : Implement lean manufacturing and problem-solving projects to reduce costs, increase flexibility, and improve customer service
Requirements:
- Languages : Italian C1 level and English at least B2.
- Education: Master Degree in Management Engineering
- IT Skills : Good knowledge of Excel and familiarity with ERP/management software.
- Analytical Approach and Teamwork : Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- International Communication : Willingness to interface with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors in an international context.
