Pramac , part of the world’s leading gas generator and third largest diesel generator manufacturer, is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Planning Specialist to join our team. The role is responsible for managing production planning activities to streamline lead times and resource utilization. This position will play a key role in supporting initiatives aimed at improving the industrial performance of our site, with a particular focus on scheduling production timelines and deliveries for orders related to the Material Handling Division at Pramac.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage production plans to meet customer demands, turnover goals, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining optimal lead times.
  • Cross-functional teams coordination, including production, purchasing, procurement and logistics. In order to ensure seamless execution of production schedules.
  • Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand, resource availability, or unforeseen challenges.
  • Assessment of risks related to potential shortages, escalating properly to the leadership team.
  • Effective communication to commercial branches, related to delivery dates, availability and ready to ship products
  • Lead daily production alignment with the key player (Operations Manager, Production Supervisor)
  • Accountable for On Time To First Promise KPI
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and overall site performance.
  • Preparation of one-shot reports and Monthly KPIs
  • Coordination of Configure to Order Production, from the order management to the execution ( MPS Plans, What-If Scenarios, Production Plans, Independent Demand Management, effective execution finding countermeasures if needed)
  • Ensure alignment of production schedules with customer delivery requirements, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, guaranteeing fabric’s turnover goals


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in production planning or a similar role, ideally within the engineering or manufacturing industry and configure to order management (4 Years Mininum)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in production planning software and tools (e.g., ERP systems: Oracle).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Know-how on main demand management techniques is an asset
  • Fluent English (Written and Spoken)
