For our client part of a global industrial company, we are seeking a
PRODUCTION PLANNER
Key responsibilities:
- Take ownership of production planning across multiple lines (make to stock and make to order), ensuring timely delivery and optimal resource utilization.
- Translate business needs into actionable production schedules, balancing capacity, material availability, and customer priorities.
- Lead the implementation of digital tools (MES, Power BI KPI dashboards, others) to continuous improve and streamline planning processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks, optimize workflows, and improve responsiveness.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (OTD, throughput, inventory levels) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to strategic planning and capacity expansion projects as the company scales.
Requirements:
- BS in Industrial Engineering, Managerial or Mechanical Engineering , or related fields.
- 3 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong command of ERP systems and planning tools.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
- Experience with digital transformation projects (e.g., MES implementation, data analytics).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and process optimization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A passion for improvement, innovation, and making things work better
- Fluent in English ; additional languages are a plus.
- Curiosity, sense of ownership, results-orientation and autonomy are key soft skills to be successful in the role.
