Role Purpose Statement Manage all phases of Refinery to achieve production objectives in terms of quality and quantity (KPI), in full compliance with the required safety and environmental regulations.

Main Accountabilities

Maintain clean and safe refinery areas. Provide an injury‑free work environment for employees, staff, contractors, and visitors through engagement, training programs, good work practices, Bunge standards, and proactive elimination of exposures. Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes. Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas.

Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing and maintenance operations which ensure the most effective return on assets.

Initiate plans and processes that minimize operating costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital. Assure attainment of business objectives and production schedules while ensuring product and quality standards that will exceed our customers’ expectations. Reduce costs and improve efficiencies in all processing operations. Develop financial controls and demonstrate continuous improvement in KPIs.

Manage workforce and staffing requirements. Properly utilize resources. Foster a well‑trained and motivated staff.

Maintain individual skills keeping up to date with latest production and production management concepts.

Ensure the proper planning, design and implementation of capital and expense projects consistent with site and company strategy.

Ensure that the product being manufactured meets Bunge’s and our customers’ standards, policies and practices through the proper implementation and maintenance of all aspects of quality systems.

Confer regularly with facility and other department managers to ensure that operations objectives and business goals are being met.

Additional projects and duties as assigned.

Facilitates inter‑area communication with other departments.

HACCP team member: participates in the HACCP meeting and supports activities related to the maintenance of the HACCP system.

Knows, applies and disseminates good practices, standards and procedures relating to QFS, environment and safety policies.

Education & Experience

Master in Quality, Environment and Risk Prevention in the workplace. HACCP training.

Studies in Industrial / Chemical Technical Engineering or similar or other high‑level professional institutes.

At least two years of experience in similar positions.

Value‑added experience: work in the food industry with production process and industrial laboratory.

The salary range for this role is €50,000 - €60,000 gross per year, depending on experience.
