Production Manager - Plastics Compounds

Resina Partners is supporting a leading Italian plastics compounder in the search for a Production / Plant Manager to join during a key phase of restructuring and growth.

The company:

A solid, family-owned business specialized in polyolefin-based compounds for cable applications .

Currently entering a phase of managerialization , the company is introducing new processes and structure to sustain its next stage of expansion. The board includes an external manager focused on efficiency, performance, and process excellence , with the goal of building a more scalable organization.

The role:

Reporting directly to the board, you will manage production and plant operations (18–25 people), with direct impact on performance, organization, and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for someone ready to lead by example – both strategic and operational – capable of introducing KPIs, optimizing processes, and motivating teams through transformation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the plastics compounding industry.
• Strong leadership combined with a hands-on, operational approach.
• Solid technical and organizational mindset.
• Fluent English and Italian.
