- Actively balance workloads and shift resources between teams based on real-time needs.
- Identify bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and operational risks — and address them proactively.
- Take ownership of machine availability, maintenance planning, and preventive activities.
- Build, develop, and structure production teams to meet current and future factory needs.
- Lead onboarding, training, and skill development of production personnel.
- Monitor performance, provide clear feedback, and conduct structured performance evaluations.
- Ensure production follows released configurations, procedures, and work instructions.
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Operations to ensure execution readiness.
- This role is about execution, discipline, and people leadership.
Requirements:
- MUST: 3+ years' proven experience managing production teams in an industrial or manufacturing environment, such as aviation, machining, etc.
- MUST: Strong hands-on leadership and ability to lead from the floor.
- MUST: Strong technical knowledge (Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred).
- MUST: Experience balancing workloads and managing multiple production areas.
- MUST: Solid understanding of maintenance, equipment availability, and preventive actions.
- MUST: Fluent Italian and conversational English.
- Ability to build trust, set expectations, and hold people accountable.
