Offerta

The role ensures efficient production planning, materials availability and inventory accuracy across the manufacturing site, optimizing factory performance while coordinating all operational interfaces with production, supply chain, maintenance, logistics and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the production plan (daily/weekly/monthly), balancing workloads, resource availability and plant capacity.
  • Optimize production sequencing and setup times to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Coordinate priorities across production, logistics, maintenance and quality, ensuring smooth execution and rapid issue resolution.
  • Manage plan adjustments in case of disruptions, including equipment stops, material shortages or urgent requests.
  • Monitor and improve the Factory Reliability KPI, ensuring performance tracking and corrective actions.
  • Plan and monitor inventory levels of raw materials, semi‑finished products and components to ensure continuous supply.
  • Coordinate procurement activities and supplier punctuality, analyzing consumption, forecasts and lead times.
  • Ensure material availability through efficient inbound flow and stock management, optimizing costs and operational continuity.
  • Ensure alignment between system inventory and physical stock, identifying discrepancies, investigating root causes and implementing corrective measures.
  • Manage material shortages and define timely corrective actions, collaborating closely with production and supply planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives on material flows, logistics processes and end‑to‑end efficiency.
  • Ensure optimal management of the raw material warehouse, guaranteeing standards of Safety, Quality and Cost effectiveness.T
  • The role ensures global compliance of packaging food contact materials across Europe, Asia and the Americas, defining processes, policies and standards while supporting local teams in all regions.

Competenze ed esperienza

A successful Production Logistic Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Management Engineering or similar.
  • Systemic thinking, with the ability to understand the full operational ecosystem and manage critical interdependencies beyond day‑to‑day complexity.
  • Forward‑looking mindset, able to anticipate business demand and operational risks thanks to a solid understanding of demand dynamics.
  • High accuracy and execution discipline, ensuring strong control over production‑tracking processes and material‑movement activities.
  • Effective problem‑solving skills, identifying improvement opportunities and proposing practical, actionable solutions.
  • Change‑management capability, leading transformation initiatives through competence, credibility and example‑driven leadership.
  • Fluent English.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience working with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
