The Engineering Division of Randstad Professional Leaders Search & Selection - specialized in the search and selection of middle & senior management profiles - on behalf of our client, a fast-growing small company expanding rapidly on an international scale within the Plumbing and Heating sector, we are looking for a:
PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
POSITION SUMMARY :
Reporting directly to the Country Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all production activities, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, quality standards, and safety regulations. You will manage a team of 20 operators across assembly, logistics, and warehousing, with the goal of optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise a team of 20 people (Assembly, Warehouse, and Shipping); define shifts, workloads, and daily priorities;
- Collaborate directly with the Purchasing Department to analyze orders and verify material availability, balancing production needs with supplier lead times;
- Maintain constant communication with foreign branches to collect order forecasts, confirm delivery dates, and resolve logistical issues;
- Analyze current workflows and implement innovative solutions (Lean Manufacturing, warehouse digitalization, production KPIs) to improve efficiency and reduce waste;
- Oversee order preparation and export documentation, ensuring strict adherence to delivery schedules and quality standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Technical Diploma or a Degree in Engineering;
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within the mechanical engineering sector (experience in the HVAC/Plumbing & Heating industry is highly preferred);
- Proven ability to analyze existing processes and propose tangible improvements;
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and workload management;
- Fluency in English is essential for daily communication with international branches.
The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational, management, and leadership skills, combined with a sharp analytical mind and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Salary Package : RAL 50-60K
LOCATION : near Novara
