Product Specialist – Italy

Location and Working Environment

  • Full‑time permanent, field based in Italy covering Sicilia and Calabria.
  • 50% travel expected; preference for candidate based in Sicilia orientale.
  • Limited occasional travel within Italy, including overnight stays.
  • Hybrid work available under Astellas’ Responsible Flexibility Guidelines to balance office presence and remote work.

Purpose & Scope

  • Deliver scientific information on assigned Astellas products and execute related marketing activities within your territory.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager, Medical Manager, and Market Access teams to ensure all actions align with the company’s commercial strategy.
  • Join an inclusive team committed to developing innovative therapies that improve patients’ lives.

Role and Responsibilities

Visit specialists at hospital facilities in the designated area, frequency defined each quarter.

Analyze and manage the assigned territory, verifying monthly sales performance and investigating deviations from forecasted data; propose solutions to the manager.

Actively participate in the organization and coordination of promotional initiatives, identify guests for national and international conferences, suggest local initiatives, and invite target figures to training courses.

Stay updated on scientific and promotional topics related to products and conditions, and prepare adequately for periodic meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in health‑related science or equivalent.
  • Experience in territory analysis, sales forecasting, and performance review.
  • Strong communication skills to engage specialists and coordinate promotional activities.
  • Ability to travel extensively and manage time effectively.
