PRODUCT SPECIALIST (maternity cover)

The Product Specialist supports the lifecycle management of products in the assigned category, ensuring successful development, optimization, and market positioning. This role collaborates with teams across R&D, Design, Marketing, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to improve product performance, cost efficiency, and portfolio simplification.

This is a temporary role to cover the maternity leave, with a possibility for the contract to be renewed afterwards. There might be a need for a period of training in Switzerland.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Close and daily co-operation with Range Manager to manage product life cycle maintenance activities: new launches, system maintenance, phase in/out process.
  • Daily co-operation with Product Owner Innovation to drive effective delivery of all product category projects.
  • Work with RD, Design, Marketing, Quality, Manufacturing and Purchasing to drive product development, quality improvements, marketing activities, cost efficiency and simplification across the product portfolio.
  • Maintain and develop product expertise with sales training and product support
  • Support the Range Manager on the analysis of the marketplace and benchmarking of the competition
  • Administrating product management tasks linked to our internal system with regards to Product specification, New variant requests, Model Catalogue and ensuring sales support.
  • Oversee all aspects of in-life products, including product training
  • Handle legal requirements and certifications related to product

What’s Needed For You To Thrive

  • University Degree in business and/or technical field
  • Technical knowledge & interest
  • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus
  • Experience with technical drawings & offers is a big plus
  • Availabity to travel / spend time abroad
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple complex tasks.
  • Strong customer-orientation and analytical skills to understand and anticipate the market trends and the threats posed by competition.
  • Understanding of the Marketing process and strategic capabilities in defining and articulating a complete Business Plan.
  • Will to integrate different functions and departments, such as R&D, Logistics, Production, Quality, Purchasing, Marketing, Sales and Service into a unique great team to gain the customer’s trust.
