Position Summary

Job Description

ReportingtotheMarketManagerforAerospace & DefenseEurope,thesuccessfulcandidatewillsupporttechnical,pricing, andmarketingrelateddeliverables.Thecandidatewillinteractdailywith theITT Connectorssalesand engineeringorganization,distributors,endcustomersinsupportofproductmanagement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Providesales support by supplying product related information to thesales team,distributors, and end customers
  • Provide marketing communications support, develop sales tools, support andparticipateinto trade shows
  • Provideproduct andproject management support
  • Workinclosecoordinationwiththepricinggroupin responding to bids,tacticalquotesand contract pricing inquiries as directed by the Product Managers
  • Support product cost and market price analysis in coordination with theProductManagersto improve margins and closure rates on quotes and contract pricing agreements
  • Supportcostestimatesfor customized products and special bids, interacting directly with Purchasing and Engineering

Requirements

  • Completed degree in engineering, business, or a comparable field
  • Preferably1-2 yearsofexperience in Product Management,Project Management, Engineering, Sales, or CustomerService,ideally in the military or aerospace connector industry.
  • Technical understanding of connector systems
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Structured, reliable, and independent working style
  • Strong communicationskills when interacting with internal teams, sales partners, and customers
  • Very goodEnglish language skills
  • Position can be based both inItalyorGermany
