Role Overview

The Sales & Product Specialist will be responsible for developing and managing cardiology-focused sales opportunities and strategic reference sites within a defined territory of Tuscany Region (including Florence) , as well as managing patient monitoring opportunities and promoting service offerings. This role requires achieving revenue, margin, and product mix targets while representing Spacelabs Healthcare as the technology leader and vendor of choice.


Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual sales quota through effective territory coverage and account penetration.
  • Identify and develop strategic reference sites in assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to document best practices and develop sales tools for cardiology markets.
  • Create and update quarterly and annual business plans to support quota attainment and market share growth.
  • Maintain a balanced sales funnel and accurate CRM records.
  • Conduct product presentations, evaluations, customer training, and clinical trials.
  • Participate in trade shows, national and corporate meetings (including occasional weekends).
  • Perform basic installation and acceptance testing of solutions when required.
  • Develop targeted account strategies using Strategic/Spin Selling techniques.
  • Maintain consultative relationships with key buying influences and monitor competitive activity.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and manage consignment inventory.
  • Submit timely reports on expenses, activities, and forecasts.


Qualifications

  • Degree or professional qualification in a technical science (Bio Engineering, Degree of Physiopathology, Cardiovascular or Cardio circulation) or business discipline OR proven sales track record in capital equipment sales.
  • Clinical background in a cardiac setting is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in medical capital equipment sales .
  • Expert-level proficiency in Strategic/Spin Selling techniques.
  • Strong project management and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Domestic travel required (>70%) and ability to travel internationally (passport required).
