WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
As a Product & Process Quality performance specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end quality performance of Iveco Bus vehicles.
Your role will be strategic in analysing data from warranty, anticipating risks, managing recall campaigns, and improving interaction processes with Body builder across Iveco network.
The Product & Process Quality Performance Specialist has as primary functions:
- Analysis & Reporting: utilize warranty and manufacturing quality data to identify emerging issues, detect trends, and ensure consistency of quality indicators.
- Body Builder Quality Management: manage, monitor, and improve the quality performance and process maturity of body builders.
- Recall Campaign Management: prepare, present, and oversee recall and service campaigns to senior management.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
The Product & Process Quality performance specialist is a role that works at the same time with the current product team (CPT), with warranty team and body builders network acting as a key quality interface.
On the CPT side:
- Support the PTS (product technical specialist) in configuring quality issues (describe the problem and summarize it on one-page report - 5Whys and 2Hows) taking information from different sources.
- Provide body builder feedbacks to improve product robustness and process definition on engineering and manufacturing side.
On the Warranty team side:
- Contribute to reducing the costs of non-quality and improving vehicle reliability mastering MERF and CORF reports as to tackle manufacturing issues quickly.
- Link the claim and network issues to provide technical proposals to the Warranty team as refund constraints – use cases.
- Support the supplier warranty recovery team with the claim-by-claim contracts on-going.
- Propose and create recall campaigns to avoid customer unexpected stops anticipating issues.
On the Body Builder side:
- Manage and continuously improve quality processes, standards, and interactions with body builders working closely with Iveco Bus Business Line and customer service.
- Support and drive process restructuring and standardization to certificate body builder across Europe.
- Perform process and quality audits, both remotely and on-site, and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Act as the primary quality contact point for body builders, ensuring alignment on quality expectations and performance.
- Travel occasionally to body builder sites to support quality improvement and transformation initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS:
Mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- English: fluent speaking and writing
- Skills: Data analysis and risk forecasting
- Sense of initiative, autonomous work organization
- Willingness to travel occasionally across Europe.
Preferred
- Three years’ experience in one of the following fields: Technical Support, Quality - Product Specialist, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plant Quality.
- General knowledge of key industrial manufacturing processes (machining, welding, screwing).
- Knowledge on commercial vehicles / public transportation utilization and mission.
- Italian: good speaking and writing
Nice to have
Basic knowledge of IT or programming languages (e.G. SQL, Python) to speed up warranty claims analysis using company datas
