This role in summary
Based on the guidelines defined at functional level, the candidate will support the Product Management team specific to product category in its go-to-market, product strategy, analysis and content for everyday tasks.
Your responsibilities will include
Together with his/her tutor (the PM), Trainee will oversee:
- Market competitive and qualitative analyses with frequent monthly benchmarks and GFK studies.
- Research from the marketplace to define market needs and plan product development (short- and long-term basis).
- Providing product requirement input to HQ product management.
- Product definition in alignment with HQ, trade Marketing and Sales teams.
- Analysis of market prices and selling price calculation.
- Supporting sales forecasts to guarantee product availability & new launches rump-up.
- Ensuring that the product meets all requirements (product pictures, product specifications, user manuals, safety standards/certifications, information on the product).
- Preparation of Value Proposition and localization of communication materials for product launches.
- Developing product information tools for sales and training.
Minimum requirements
- Currently studying a Master’s degree in Economics, Marketing or similar fields.
- Strong analytical, research, and spreadsheet modeling skills.
- Fluent knowledge in Italian and English.
- Expertise in various analytical, data visualization and presentation platforms.
- Self-starter and high analytical.
- Flexible and proactive team player.
- Good command of MS Office Suite.
