Product Engineering Manager

We are looking for an Engineering Product Manager to join our dynamic team.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Your role

The role involves various activities across different areas.

Product Management :

• Ensure product modularity and standardization according to company policies.
• Manage product codes and update BOMs and related documentation.
• Control and manage costs effectively.
• Coordinate phase-in and phase-out meetings for product codes.
• Support and assist in product strategy development.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to develop customer-facing features.
• Allocate resources efficiently within the engineering team.
• Contribute to developing a compelling product roadmap based on customer needs.

Project Management :

• Manage complex engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate efforts and achieve objectives.
• Prioritize tasks, approve or disapprove tasks, and facilitate trade-offs.

Technical Leadership :

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• Lead the design and development of engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Promote knowledge sharing and best engineering practices.
• Develop innovative solutions for engineering challenges.

Quality Assurance :

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct design reviews and audits to maintain high-quality outputs.

Collaboration and Communication :

• Foster synergy between Operations, Commercial, and R&D teams.
• Develop systems for inter-company communication and collaboration.
• Align engineering activities with business goals through close collaboration with product management and operations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and senior management regarding project status and technical issues.

Your experiences

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials Science, or related fields).
• Strong understanding of product prioritization.
• Knowledge of organizational strategic initiatives and objectives.
• Proven experience in technical design, product management, project management, or program management.
• Familiarity with CAD tools and SAP.
• Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record in leading engineering projects and teams.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
