This designer will help us shape products and tools across our digital ecosystem to create the very best experience for users of Arduino. What you'll work on

  • Design flows, UX/UI, Visuals and Prototypes that are simple and elegant
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Design peers to understand requirements and transform them into high level quality and visually crafted design.
  • Leverage your creativity and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges and find design solutions.
  • Balance user needs, business goals and technical constraints ensuring that our products remain democratic, scalable, and reliable.
  • Learn about our users, how they use our products, understand their needs and pain points, and propose projects to fix them.
  • Help us maintain and evolve our internal Design System
  • Contribute to the design culture within Arduino.


What you bring

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Design.
  • You have at least 1 yr experience as Product Designer in a similar field
  • You have a portfolio showcasing your skills in user experience, interaction design and visual design (applications without a portfolio are a no-go)
  • You care about creating good products and love working both on UX and UI to shape beautiful artifacts.
  • You care about business needs, implications, and the practicality of your solutions and work to deliver clear, intuitive, and appealing UX/UI
  • You feel comfortable designing, illustrating, iterating, and prototyping in Figma
  • You have experience effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs within project timelines.
  • You are fluent in English
  • You are open to work hybrid in our Torino’s offices.


Bonus Points

  • You have experience in Agile methodologies
  • You have experience in motion design (Lottie, Adobe AE or equivalent)
  • You have experience balancing trade-offs while implementing a feature to ship it on time without compromising the long-term product vision.
  • You have great communication skills and can articulate design decisions and rationale effectively to stakeholders and team members.
