To strengthen our Global Product Configuration (GPC) organization, we are looking for a Product Configurator Specialist who will play a central role in the implementation, quality and evolution of our global configuration models.

Your Responsibilities
As a Product Configurator Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and continuously improving technical and commercial configuration models for Schindler products.
Your responsibilities include:
- Implementation of product configuration rules based on structured requirement specifications for technical and commercial configuration of Schindler Elevator products.
- Modeling of technical specifications and design of product configuration rules, including definition of testing specifications.
- Quality assurance, unit testing and structured documentation of implemented changes.
- Execution of extended testing scenarios, including positive and negative specifications.
- Actively proposing and driving continuous improvements within the global configuration environment.
What You Bring (Required Qualifications)
- University degree or equivalent (Mechanical/Electrical Engineering background).
- Proven experience in the elevator industry or a comparable industrial environment — 2+ years.
- Strong analytical mindset with solid understanding of configuration logic and rule‑based modeling — 2+ years.
- Hands‑on experience with CPQ (Configure – Price – Quote) or similar product configuration environments — 2+ years.
- Advanced understanding of IT systems and related business processes for offer and order fulfilment — 2+ years.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a multicultural, international environment.
- English — C2 (Proficient).
Qualifications That Will Strengthen Your Profile (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with SAP Variant Configuration and related SAP modules (MM, SD).
- Experience with task and change management tools (e.g., Jira, PCM Integrity).
- Knowledge of CRM platforms (SAP CRM, Salesforce or similar).
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Broader knowledge of the CPQ ecosystem and related enterprise tools.
