Procurement/Pricing Specialist

JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.

For the expansion of our Ocean Procurement Department in Segrate, we are looking for 1 Procurement/Pricing Specialist.

The Pricing Specialist assists in driving new business to JAS by negotiating pricing with carriers and/or managing price quotes to the Network and performing cost analysis.

It's a commercial focused role, working with carriers, service contracts, rate requests and tenders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Handle daily pricing activity
• Work with multiple departments to improve efficiency of processes
• Assist in the packaging and communications of procurement strategy to branches and commercial organizations
• Ensure timely response to all inquiries
• Ensure adherence to all company policies

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong Organizational skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
• High energy level, positive and friendly demeanor

EXPERIENCE

• Preferable Good Knowledge/know-how Export Trade
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power Point required
