About The Role

As a CBRE Procurement Manager, you will be part of the team that designs, evaluates, and provides strategy and reports on sourcing, contracting, management, and performance of suppliers and vendors.

This job is part of the Procurement function. You are responsible for supporting the Divisional Procurement strategy to ensure the business needs are met for value for money, quality delivery, and risk management.

What You'll Do

Support Business Units to manage existing and new supply chains:

  • Assist with the management of the RFP process, solution selection, and negotiations - understand customer, strategy, and objectives, monitor and assist in delivery.
  • Develop, plan, organize and put in place contracting and procurement strategies and programs based on the team's research and business needs.
  • Present results of reports along with their relative impacts to the business to Management.
  • Play key governance roles with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Challenge and advise the business on procurement‑related matters, developing internal stakeholders’ procurement expertise.

Supplier Selection, Negotiation and Management

  • Ensure suppliers are safe, sustainable and appropriately accredited.
  • Develop and maintain contracts with local and regional service providers that are recognized for delivering best value, including high quality service delivery to CBRE and its customers.
  • Review and analyze current spend within the division to maintain comprehensive knowledge of the supply base and contract status and identify value‑improvement opportunities by reducing costs or improving service delivery.
  • Partner with Finance to outline potential value and ROI of proposed initiatives and rack results.
  • Category and supply chain development: develop and implement category strategies for elected categories, sectors, and localities.
  • Identify and realize opportunities to optimize the number of suppliers and leverage high‑performing suppliers.
  • Collaborative development of the business: apply in‑depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in‑depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.
  • Explain difficult or sensitive information.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/architecture. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • 4‑6 years of relevant experience in Procurement, preferably in facility/construction sector.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
