Procurement Expediting Officer s (C1 English mandatory)

The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods & documentation in alignment with project schedules & technical requirements

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the progress of deliverables & manufacturing activities, including those of subcontractors , identifying potential delays or issues affecting purchase order (PO ) timelines
• Proactively engage with suppliers to resolve critical issues & ensure adherence to delivery schedules
• Collaborate with suppliers to propose & implement solutions when challenges arise that may impact delivery
• Coordinate with the project team to define corrective actions aimed at mitigating risks to delivery dates
• Interface with the Project Engineer to resolve outstanding technical matters that may hinder supplier performance
• Establish revised schedules & delivery dates in cases of non -compliance or delays
• Implement on -site expediting activities at supplier or subcontractor facilities when necessary to recover schedule slippages
• Maintain & regularly update the Material Status Report for assigned scopes

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in procurement expediting within industrial or engineering sectors
• Full professional proficiency in English – both written & spoken
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes & project-based procurement
• Ability to monitor & manage supplier performance , including subcontractors
• Problem -solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying & resolving delivery issues

Location: on -site in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan)
