Job Description

• Represent the company and own the relationship with suppliers
• Perform Potential Supplier Assessment (PSA)
• Determine root cause of supplier manufacturing problems and lead the implementation of timely, effective, and efficient quality resolutions
• Manage supplier crises with on‑site support within 24 hrs when required
• Assure supplier understanding and compliance with APQP processes and product PPAP submission and approval requirements
• Develop and execute plans to ensure supplier fulfillment of quoted capacity through use of the Run at Rate workbook
• Improve quality performance of suppliers, running workshops at supplier sites and assisting suppliers in developing a robust quality system

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience. Preferred specializations: mechanical, electronics, aeronautical, chemical, industrial processes
• 2 years, of which at least 1 year in Automotive Purchasing/Supplier Quality or Engineering
• Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly plant processes, procedures, tooling, equipment and facilities
• Demonstrated knowledge of probability, statistical quality control and design of experiments
• Knowledge of the commodity structure and its processes
• Knowledge of quality management and value analysis
• Knowledge of MS‑Office
• Flexibility, ability to work under pressure, initiative, capacity for teamwork, social and intercultural competency
• High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and motivate team members
• Technical and quality certifications are a plus
