Key Responsibilities

 Procurement strategy: Develop and implement the global procurement strategy aligned with business objectives and ESG policies.  Supplier management: Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with strategic suppliers of PVA, additives, complementary materials, and packaging.  Cost and risk optimization: Ensure the best balance between quality, cost, delivery time, and supply risk.  Sustainability and innovation: Collaborate with R&D and Operations to integrate innovative suppliers and solutions that reduce the environmental impact of products.  Governance and compliance: Ensure all purchasing processes comply with international regulations, ethical codes, and internal policies.  Team leadership: Lead and develop an international procurement team, promoting a highperformance and cross-functional collaboration culture.  Market analysis: Monitor global market trends, raw material price fluctuations (PVA, biopolymers, sustainable packaging, etc.), and geopolitical dynamics affecting the supply chain.  Digital transformation: Promote the adoption of digital tools and e-procurement systems to improve efficiency and transparency.

Required Skills and Experience

 Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Economics, or related fields; MBA or Master’s in Supply Chain Management preferred.  Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic procurement or purchasing management roles, preferably within multinational environments in the chemical, packaging, or polymer sectors.  Deep knowledge of polymeric raw materials, particularly PVA and derivatives.  Proven experience in managing global suppliers and negotiating long-term contracts.  Strong skills in cost analysis, risk management, and supply chain sustainability.  Excellent command of English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus.  Leadership, influencing ability, and strong results orientation…  Strategic vision and analytical mindset.  Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.  Flexibility and problem-solving attitude.  Strong commitment to sustainability and innovation.  Ability to thrive in complex, multicultural environments.
