Procurement (Energy/Photovoltaic Sector)
On behalf of a fast-growing company operating in the energy and photovoltaic sector, we are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join and strengthen the Procurement function in Italy.
This role is positioned within a dynamic and evolving environment, where Procurement is increasingly playing a key role in driving business decisions and generating value across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
The role will involve both operational and strategic activities, with a progressive shift toward higher value-added responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the supplier base, fostering long-term partnerships beyond pure negotiation
- Lead supplier negotiations and monitor vendor performance
- Analyze data and develop structured reporting to support decision-making processes
- Monitor market trends and sourcing dynamics
- Support the definition and implementation of purchasing strategies and cost optimization initiatives
- Collaborate closely with technical departments, particularly on electrical components
- Interface directly with top management, reporting to senior leadership
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Procurement / Purchasing, ideally within technical or industrial environments
- Solid knowledge of electrical components (mandatory)
- Nice to have: experience or exposure to BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) and energy storage solutions
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel or equivalent)
- Analytical mindset, structured thinking, and continuous improvement approach

- Strong understanding of market dynamics
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
