Position

  • Global Process Owner for the Procure to Pay (P2P) to join an international team. You will report, with a matrix reporting line, to the Global GPO Manager and to Global Sourcing. You can be based in Parma (Italy), Montpellier (France) or Valencia (Spain).

  • Oterra is currently seeking a Global Process Owner for the Procure to Pay

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the consistent global end-to-end Direct and Indirect Procure to Pay (P2P) user profiles, process implementation and governance for new business integration, which supports Procurement targets and Oterra’s business objectives.
  • Lead further optimization and harmonization projects for P2P processes, procedures and organization to optimize productivity and meet global compliance requirements.
  • Drive further automation of the P2P interface processes (e.g., approvals, catalogs, use of contracts, etc.).
  • Drive and support the use of Direct and Indirect Buying solutions, processes and procedures.
  • Drive major process design efforts and be accountable for their successful implementation; support integration projects that impact the global process.
  • Drive organization results through prioritization, communication and planning.
  • Map current processes and drive process standardization.
  • Drive global deployment and adoption of a standard end-to-end process, with regional and local requirements customization only when necessary.
  • Define and maintain the process and control standards documentation for P2P.
  • Consistently evaluate processes to ensure the business is operating in a compliant and efficient manner.
  • Facilitate new plant migrations in SAP HANA and related data migration processes.
  • Review and conduct online training and lessons learned from P2P at local sites.
  • Collaborate to ensure resources are properly trained on processes, policies, and systems.
  • Manage the interface with other processes, procurement functions and other relevant workstreams (RTR, MTO, OTC, EWM, SCM, TM).
  • Collaborate with corporate functions, data owners/stewards, peers and external P2P practitioners to ensure standardization and alignment across policy, process, and data.
  • Monitor relevant policy adoption and template adherence, and drive the business towards common, standard global solutions.
  • Create a prioritized, metric-driven pipeline of process-related improvements and opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations and suggestions for improvements.

What we are looking for

  • Your professional acumen and experience make up most of your qualifications, but it's your personality that makes the difference to succeed in this role.
  • You have a degree in Economics, Informatics, Engineering, or equivalent field of studies.
  • You already have 5 years of experience within P2P Procurement processes and/or Procurement process design. You have prior experience working in a transformational global environment, preferably with process usage and experience of SAP HANA in Procure to Pay.
  • We are looking for someone dynamic, enthusiastic, collaborative, able to drive changes and continuous improvement. You are able to manage multifunctional, diverse teams in a project; you will be working with different countries. Your ability to communicate, written and oral, will help you succeed and share your ideas.
  • You speak English fluently; another language would be a plus.
