Processes&Operations Internship
MISSION:
Support the streamlining and continuous improvement of business processes while contributing to daily Operations activities support (orders, installations, logistics/aftersales). Ensure flows are clear, efficient, and aligned with business objectives and SLAs for quality, cost, and customer satisfaction.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process analysis & optimization: support in mapping and improving cross‑functional processes using a Lean, customer‑value approach
- Tools & digitization support: support analysis on implementation of tools and systems in collaboration with ICT/Digital; execute data checks and simple reconciliations across ERP/CRM/ticketing.
- Documentation & governance: Draft and maintain SOPs, RACI matrices, checklists, templates, and change logs. Prepare materials for governance meetings, take structured minutes, track action items and due dates to closure.
- Continuous improvement: Collect data, prepare visuals, and monitor improvements of main processes and operations projects.
- KPI & reporting: Maintain trackers and support in building dashboards (lead time, first‑time‑right, backlog aging, SLA adherence) in order to share updates with stakeholders.
- Operations support: support in monitoring of operations workflows; flag risks/bottlenecks to the Operation & Process Manager; coordinate simple escalations with internal teams and partners.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Recent graduate or final‑year student in Industrial/Management Engineering, Management, Economics, or related fields.
- Business Process Modelling (BPMN/flowchart) basics; familiarity with KPIs/SLA concepts.
- Data analysis & BI: strong Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, IF/AND/OR); basics of Power BI/Looker Studio are a plus.
- Change & project management fundamentals: ability to structure simple plans/timelines, keep organized notes, and maintain accurate process documentation.
- Risk and issue awareness; ability to support mitigation tracking under guidance.
- Depending on the process, basic understanding of relevant technical aspects is appreciated.
SOFT SKILLS:
- Collaboration, team working, and basic conflict management.
- Clear written and verbal communication; ability to interact with stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking mindset; attention to detail with pragmatic time‑boxing.
- Ownership of follow‑ups and drive to closure; curiosity and fast learning.
LANGUAGES:
- English: fluent (B2 or above)
- French: nice to have
- Italian: fluent
WORK LOCATION:
- Turin, Hybrid
