We are currently seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy !

We are looking for a highly motivated Engineer to join our Thermal Management Engineering team in Piove di Sacco (PD) – Italy. He/She will be focused on Thermal products and Design Validation Test. He/She as Process improvement engineer, will be focus on analyzing, designing, and optimizing organizational workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality. Using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma, this engineer identifies bottlenecks and implements data-driven, incremental improvements to boost productivity and reduce costs.

What kind of work will you be doing?

  • Work in a multi-disciplinary engineeringteam on Thermal cooling units for Data Center, focusing on high-performance, cost-effective design and market leading innovation.
  • Bottleneck Analysis: Identifying production slowdowns, redundant workflows, and inefficient activities.
  • Data-Driven Improvements: Utilizing data to map current processes and implement changes.
  • Workflow Redesign: Reconfiguring production lines or integrating new technology (e.g., automation).
  • Continuous Improvement: Ensuring long‑term success through iterative, small, or large‑scale improvements rather than just temporary fixes.
  • Designnew products or re-engineer existing ones, collaborating with suppliers, Procurement and Industrial Engineering, being aware of the necessary product marketing inputs.
  • Support product production transfer from and to other locations, interface with main center of expertise.
  • Create and review product documentation (drawings, specifications, bills of material).
  • To meet objectives of cost, quality, environmental and time of execution, achieving the best trade‑off between market and internal customer needs.
  • Analyze and resolve technical problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all regions to enhance global designs.

What will make you successful?

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering
  • Thermodynamics and refrigeration knowledge, HVAC design, Hydronic design, some 2D/3D CAD design
  • Process Skills: Demonstrates structural process capabilities with focus on continuous improvements.
  • Communication: Demonstrates excellent listening and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Initiative: Works independently and is highly motivated to initiate and accept new challenges.
  • Imagination / Problem Solving: able to assess problems, break them down into component issues and determine appropriate timely and cost effective solutions.
  • English –Good level – written and spoken
  • Competences: result‑oriented, team player, careful to details, flexible
  • Strong PC skills in particularly on Microsoft Excel
  • Available to travel if needed (10/20%)
