Process Engineering Supervisor

We are looking for a Process Engineering Superviso r who will be responsible for: analyzing and improving production processes and industrial plants, with a particular focus on newly installed lines, heat treatment processes, and machining centers for mechanical processing.
The main objective of the role is to ensure high level of efficiency in continuous improvement, in line with company quality and compliance standards, working in close collaboration with all Operations departments.
The position leads a team of approximately 6 -10 people and reports to the Process Engineering Manager.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing production processes by evaluating flows, timings, and methods to identify improvement opportunities.
- Proposing and implementing technical solutions to optimize plant performance, increasing productivity while reducing waste and inefficiencies
- Managing continuous improvement projects, coordinating the introduction of new technologies and processes
- Supporting production activities by troubleshooting operational issues related to processes and equipment
- Monitoring key performance KPIs, analyzing data, and defining corrective and improvement actions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company standards.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Management, or Industrial Engineering, experience of not less than 3 years
- Knowledge of industrial mechanical manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with production plant layouts, internal logistics, and Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen methodologies; knowledge of Lean Six Sigma will be considered a plus
- Proven experience in the installation, integration, and commissioning of industrial plants, including supervision of all stages of technical and functional validation through Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities, ensuring full compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and performance requirements.
- Strong problem solving and project management skills, PMO knowledge will be considered a plus.
- As part of a multinational environment, fluent English is required and, for non- Italian candidates, proficiency in Italian is also required.
