For our own projects, we are looking for: PROCESS ENGINEER (SENIOR) – O&M
MISSION:
The selected candidate will support the O&M Department by providing process engineering expertise for FPSO operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and optimized operation of oil and gas process systems. The role involves close collaboration with operations, maintenance, and multidisciplinary teams to maintain production performance and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
TASKS:
▪ Monitor and optimize process systems performance, including oil separation, gas treatment, and water injection
▪ Analyze operational data to ensure process parameters remain within design limits and improve production efficiency
▪ Provide technical support for troubleshooting process upsets and equipment malfunctions
▪ Investigate root causes of process deviations and define corrective actions
▪ Prepare performance reports and monitor key process KPIs
▪ Ensure compliance with process safety standards, environmental regulations, and company procedures
▪ Participate in HAZOP studies, risk assessments, and Management of Change (MoC) activities
▪ Support maintenance planning, shutdowns, start-ups, and equipment interventions
▪ Develop and update operating procedures, SOPs, and work instructions
▪ Support training of operations personnel on process systems and safety practices
▪ Interface with mechanical, instrumentation, and safety teams to ensure integrated and safe operations
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
▪ Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
▪ Proven experience as a Process Engineer within the Oil & Gas sector
▪ Experience in FPSO operations is a strong advantage
▪ Minimum 2 years of relevant Oil & Gas experience (seniority preferred)
▪ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
▪ Knowledge of process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, Pipenet, Flarenet, Flaresim
▪ Expertise in preparation and optimization of Block Flow Diagrams, PFDs, and P&IDs
▪ Understanding of metallurgy and materials used in Oil & Gas applications
▪ Solid knowledge of process safety principles and procedures
▪ Proficiency in English and Italian
CONTRACT DETAILS:
▪ Location: Milan, Italy
▪ Working hours: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week
▪ Contract duration: 12 months
▪ Availability: ASAP
