We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer specializing in Formation processes to join our client, an established Battery company in Italy. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing and managing the formation and aging processes of battery cells. You will ensure that the formation process is efficient, cost-effective, and meets quality and safety standards, contributing directly to the performance and longevity of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize battery cells, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and safety standards.
• Monitor and analyze formation process data to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to enhance process stability and product consistency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues, leading root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to formation processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize process efficiency, reduce cycle time, and lower costs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical).
• 3+ years of experience in formation, battery manufacturing, or similar processes.
• Knowledge of battery formation and aging processes, data analysis, and process control.
• Proficiency in English, Italian is a plus.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus.
