Role The firm is looking to hire an Investment Analyst / (Analyst II level) to join its investment team in Milan. The role offers exposure to the full investment lifecycle, from deal sourcing and execution to portfolio management and exit processes.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior investment professionals and management teams, contributing to the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities as well as supporting value creation initiatives across portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities Investment Execution
  • Support the evaluation of new investment opportunities across sectors
  • Perform financial analysis, valuation and transaction modelling
  • Prepare investment memos and materials for internal committees
  • Coordinate and manage due diligence processes with external advisors
  • Participate in negotiations and transaction structuring
Portfolio Management
  • Monitor portfolio company performance and financial KPIs
  • Support portfolio companies in business planning and strategic initiatives
  • Assist in value creation projects including operational improvements, M&A add-ons and refinancing processes
Market Analysis
  • Conduct industry research and competitive analysis
  • Identify potential investment opportunities and sector trends
Candidate Profile Experience
  • 12 years of experience in:
    • Investment banking
    • Transaction services / M&A advisory
    • Private equity / growth equity
  • Exposure to mid-market transactions is considered a strong plus
Skills
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities
  • Solid understanding of corporate finance and M&A processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in lean teams and fast-paced environments
Education
  • Top-tier university background in Finance, Economics, Business or Engineering 
  • Please note: candidates with a final graduation grade below 108/110 will not be considered
